The Latest in Non-Medicinal Treatments for ADHD

Edward M. Hallowell, M.D.

Dr. Hallowell will provide an overview of alternative treatments and cover the role of exercise and
nutrition in treating ADHD. Dr. Hallowell is the co-author of
'Driven to Distraction' and 'Delivered from Distraction' and is considered
one of the world’s foremost experts on the topic of ADHD.

Wynford Dore

Dore founder, Wynford Dore, will discuss the journey to pioneer a new way of treating learning
difficulties and the evolution of the Dore Program to help children/adults who suffer with ADHD,
dyslexia, learning, writing, behavior or sensory issues and Aspergers Syndrome. Mr. Dore is
the author of 'Dyslexia: The Miracle Cure'.

Rebecca Shafir, M.A., CCC

Ms. Shafir, of the Hallowell Center, will discuss
Quantitative Electroencephalograms (QEEG), Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS),
and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Ms. Shafir is the author of
'The Zen of Listening: Mindful Communication in the Age of Distraction'.
